We sadly are aware of how difficult this can be. We do hope that it helps support you in some way you know that sharing your story may help others, letting them know they are not alone, but also might serve an educational purpose, by helping those who ‘with good intentions’ may be harming others out of ignorance. Sharing your story may help them to question their words and deeds.
We do also hope that you consider sharing – if safe – with those near you and that you also consider sharing with an ombudsperson.
